Captiwate vs Factors.ai

Factors reports on the visit. Captiwate turns it into a conversation.

Factors.ai identifies visiting accounts, scores their intent and tells marketing which campaigns and LinkedIn ads drove them. Captiwate identifies companies and people too — and then lets your reps chat, call or video-call the visitor while they’re still on the page, with AI chat after hours and unlimited seats at one price.

Where Captiwate is different

A report for marketing vs. a conversation for sales

Factors identifies the account, scores it, attributes it to a campaign and alerts Slack so someone can follow up. Captiwate does the identification and then lets your rep chat, call or video-call the visitor while they’re still on the page, with AI chat covering the hours nobody is online. Factors’ Scout is an AI copilot for your team, not a chat your visitors can open.

People, not only accounts — and not only in the US

Factors resolves anonymous traffic to companies worldwide through 6sense data. Names come from an RB2B integration that covers “a subset of US-based B2B visitors” and consumes RB2B credits; the help center says international coverage is limited. Captiwate identifies the visiting company and, where lawful, the person on the page, wherever your traffic comes from — under GDPR and CCPA, with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.

Unlimited seats, one number

Factors caps three things per plan: monthly tracked users, companies identified per month and seats — 3 seats on Lite, 25 on Enterprise. Captiwate is priced on monthly visitors, from $15,000/year, with unlimited seats, conversations and identified companies on every plan.

Pricing: three caps vs. one number

Factors caps each plan on monthly tracked users, companies identified per month and seats; when your team or traffic outgrows a cap you move up a plan. Captiwate sells annual plans on a single number — your monthly visitors — with nothing metered on top.

  • Scale: $30,000/year, 20,000–100,000 monthly visitors

Billed annually. Unlimited seats, conversations, identified companies and co-browsing on every plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can I migrate from Factors.ai to Captiwate?

Yes. Captiwate takes care of teams coming from Factors.ai financially and during the move. Setup is a single JavaScript snippet; you connect HubSpot or Salesforce, point alerts at Slack or Teams and rebuild your Factors segments as Captiwate traffic segments and automation flows. If you still need attribution reporting, you can keep Factors for that — the two do not conflict. Bring your current Factors setup to a 30-minute walkthrough and leave with a plan.

How does Factors.ai pricing compare to Captiwate’s?

Factors sells four plans capped on monthly tracked users, companies identified per month and seats: Lite at $199/month after a free trial (5,000 tracked users, 1,500 companies, 3 seats), Basic at $6,000/year (10,000 tracked users, 3,000 companies, 5 seats), Growth at $20,000/year (50,000 tracked users, 8,000 companies, 10 seats) and Enterprise from $30,000/year (100,000 tracked users, 25 seats), with GTM Engineering services as a paid add-on; overage is not listed publicly (as shown on factors.ai/pricing, 2026-09-04). For a small marketing team that needs attribution first, Factors is the cheaper entry point. Captiwate is annual and priced on monthly visitors: Grow is $15,000/year up to 20,000 visitors, Scale is $30,000/year up to 100,000, Unlimited is custom — with unlimited seats, conversations and identified companies included.

Does Factors.ai have live chat or a chatbot for website visitors?

Not on its pages. Factors identifies accounts, scores them, attributes them to campaigns and sends alerts to Slack, Teams and your CRM. Its AI, Scout, is a copilot your own team asks for reports and workflows; it does not open a chat with visitors, and Factors lists no live chat, video call, co-browsing or scheduling feature. Captiwate is built around that moment: a rep chats, calls or video-calls the identified visitor, and AI chat answers when nobody is online.

Can I use Factors.ai and Captiwate together?

Yes, and for marketing-led teams it is a sensible split. Factors does things Captiwate does not: multi-touch attribution, LinkedIn Ads impression control and view-through attribution, audience sync to LinkedIn, Google and Meta, and revenue analytics across ads, CRM, website and G2 data. Captiwate does what Factors does not: live conversations with the visitor on your site. Both push to HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack and Teams, so the same account can be measured in Factors and engaged through Captiwate.

Does Factors.ai identify individual people, or only companies?

Both, with limits. Factors resolves anonymous visits to companies through 6sense’s IP-to-company data. Person-level identity comes from an RB2B integration that, per Factors’ help center, identifies “a subset of US-based B2B visitors”, has limited international coverage and consumes RB2B credits only when a LinkedIn profile or work email is found. Captiwate identifies the visiting company and, where lawful, the person on the page, and shows that context to your rep before the conversation starts.

Is there a free trial?

No, a free trial is not available today. We offer a fully customized demo built around your website, so you can see how Captiwate would work on your live site before committing.

Do I need a developer to set up Captiwate?

No. Adding Captiwate is a single JavaScript snippet, similar to Google Analytics. Our team handles the full setup and most customers are live within minutes — no engineering resources required.
