Captiwate vs ZoomInfo WebSights

WebSights is one feature. Captiwate is the whole conversation.

ZoomInfo WebSights matches website visits to companies inside ZoomInfo’s data platform, bought on a custom-quoted enterprise contract with per-seat licences and data credits. Captiwate identifies the company and the person on your site, then lets your team chat, call or video-call them while they’re still on the page, at one published price with unlimited seats.

Where Captiwate is different

The conversation, not only the signal

WebSights is one feature inside ZoomInfo: it matches a visit to a company, raises a “WebSight Spike” signal in Copilot and pushes it to Slack, Teams or email for a rep to act on later. Website chat is a separate ZoomInfo product, sold on its own quote. Captiwate does the identification and then lets your team chat, call or video-call the visitor while they’re still on the page, with AI chat covering the hours nobody is online.

People on the page, not only US accounts

ZoomInfo’s person-level “WebSights Buyer ID” sits in Copilot Enterprise and, in ZoomInfo’s own words, is “currently limited to identifying U.S. website visitors”; everyone else falls back to company-level. Captiwate identifies the visiting company and, where lawful, the person on the page wherever your traffic comes from, under GDPR and CCPA with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification.

One published price, no seats or credits

ZoomInfo publishes no prices. Every paid plan is custom-quoted on team size, credit volume, features, integrations and contract length, and Vendr puts the median contract at $33,500 a year. Captiwate is priced on monthly visitors, from $15,000/year, with unlimited seats, conversations and identified companies on every plan.

Feature comparison: Captiwate vs ZoomInfo WebSights

WebSights is the website visitor identification feature of ZoomInfo, a B2B contact database with intent data and the Copilot seller assistant. Captiwate is the on-site conversation layer: identify the visitor, then talk to them. ZoomInfo does more off your site; Captiwate does more on it.

Pricing: seats and credits vs. one number

ZoomInfo quotes every paid plan individually, licenses per seat, meters contact data with credits and bills annually; WebSights comes with the Advanced tier, person-level Buyer ID with Copilot Enterprise, and ZoomInfo Chat on its own quote. Captiwate sells annual plans on a single number — your monthly visitors — with nothing metered on top.

Captiwate
  • Grow: $15,000/year, up to 20,000 monthly visitors
  • Scale: $30,000/year, 20,000–100,000 monthly visitors
  • Unlimited: Custom, 100,000+ monthly visitors

Billed annually. Unlimited seats, conversations, identified companies and co-browsing on every plan.

ZoomInfo
  • ZoomInfo Lite: Free — WebSights Lite shows up to 10 new visiting companies a day, no export, 10 monthly data credits
  • Professional: Custom quote — contact & company database, CRM integrations, AI email generation
  • Advanced: Custom quote — adds intent signals, website visitor tracking (WebSights), Champion Tracking, GTM plays
  • Enterprise: Custom quote — adds real-time intent, advanced workflows, AI account summaries; Copilot Enterprise adds WebSights Buyer ID (person-level, US)
  • ZoomInfo Chat: Custom quote — Professional+ (up to 10 users), Advanced+ (up to 25 users) or Custom; live chat, chatbot, meeting scheduler

No list prices; contact sales. Quoted on team size, credit volume, features, integrations and contract length, billed annually. Vendr (1,571 purchases) reports a median of $33,500/year and a range of $7,200–$156,000. Tiers as listed on zoominfo.com/pricing and zoominfo.com/products/chat/pricing, verified 2026-09-04.

“One thing that should get any business excited about Captiwate is when there is a call coming from a visitor. A user is calling the website — that is pretty cool, and that is the dopamine hit.”

Frequently asked questions

Can I migrate from ZoomInfo WebSights to Captiwate?

Yes. Captiwate takes care of teams coming from ZoomInfo WebSights financially and during the move. Setup is a single JavaScript snippet; from there you connect HubSpot or Salesforce, point alerts at Slack or Teams and you have the same visiting-company feed — plus person-level identification, live chat, video and AI chat. Bring your current WebSights setup to a 30-minute walkthrough and leave with a plan.

How does ZoomInfo pricing compare to Captiwate’s?

ZoomInfo does not publish prices. Its pricing page lists three tiers — Professional, Advanced and Enterprise — and its own pricing guide says paid plans are custom-quoted on team size, credit volume, features, integrations and contract length, with annual billing as standard. WebSights company-level tracking is listed under the Advanced tier; person-level Buyer ID needs Copilot Enterprise; ZoomInfo Chat is quoted separately. Vendr’s marketplace data (1,571 purchases) reports a median of $33,500 per year and a range of $7,200–$156,000. Captiwate is annual and priced on monthly visitors: Grow is $15,000/year up to 20,000 visitors, Scale is $30,000/year up to 100,000, Unlimited is custom, with unlimited seats, conversations and identified companies included.

Does ZoomInfo WebSights identify individual visitors like Captiwate does?

Partly. Standard WebSights matches a visit to a company from its IP address. WebSights Buyer ID, launched in December 2024 inside ZoomInfo Copilot, adds person-level identification for decision-makers and previously engaged contacts, but ZoomInfo states it is currently limited to identifying U.S. website visitors and falls back to company-level for everyone else. Captiwate identifies the visiting company and, where lawful, the person on the page wherever your traffic comes from, and shows your reps that context before they start a chat, a video call or a co-browsing session.

What about ZoomInfo Chat? Doesn’t ZoomInfo already do live chat?

ZoomInfo Chat (formerly Insent, acquired in 2021) still exists: it offers live chat, a chatbot, a meeting scheduler and Slack alerts, and is sold as its own product in Professional+ (up to 10 users), Advanced+ (up to 25 users) and Custom packages, each on a quote. It is not part of WebSights, and it does not list live video calls or co-browsing. Captiwate includes live chat, video, co-browsing, AI chat and scheduling with the identification in one plan, with unlimited seats rather than a per-user cap.

Do I need both ZoomInfo and Captiwate?

Some teams run both. ZoomInfo is a B2B data platform: the contact and company database, direct dials, intent signals and the Copilot seller assistant are things Captiwate does not offer. Captiwate covers what happens on your site: identifying the visitor and giving your team a live chat, video or co-browsing session in the moment, with AI chat after hours. If you use ZoomInfo mainly for WebSights alerts, Captiwate replaces that part on its own; if you use it for data and outbound, keep it and add Captiwate for the visit itself.

Is there a free trial?

No, a free trial is not available today. We offer a fully customized demo built around your website, so you can see how Captiwate would work on your live site before committing.

Do I need a developer to set up Captiwate?

No. Adding Captiwate is a single JavaScript snippet, similar to Google Analytics. Our team handles the full setup and most customers are live within minutes — no engineering resources required.
